AP Seminar
AP Seminar is a course focused on developing research, collaboration, and presentation skills. Throughout the year, I worked on team projects, individual research papers, and multimedia presentations. I explored real-world issues, evaluated sources, and learned how to build strong arguments supported by evidence.
Team Multimedia Presentation(TMP) & Individual Research Report (IRR)
The TMP, or Team Multimedia Presentation, is a collaborative project where we researched a common topic, combined our individual reports, and presented our findings and solutions as a team
The Individual Research Report (IRR) in AP Seminar is a written report where you independently research a specific aspect of your team’s broader topic. It requires you to analyze credible sources and present a well-supported argument or perspective. The IRR is a key part of your individual contribution to the overall Team Multimedia Presentation.
Individual Multimedia Presentation(IMP) & Individual Written Argument
(IWA)
The IMP is a solo presentation where students present their individual perspective from a team research project. It challenges them to communicate ideas clearly using visuals and respond to follow-up questions, showcasing both their research and presentation skills.
The IWA is a solo research paper where students craft an original argument based on stimulus materials provided by the College Board. It highlights their ability to analyze sources, develop a thesis, and support claims with strong evidence and reasoning.
